Have you ever felt like the impossible standard of the Proverbs 31 woman has left you feeling inadequate or less than? Do you compare yourself and think that you don’t quite fit the “mold” of a woman who could be used by God? The truth is a Proverbs 31 woman comes in all shapes and sizes. Even more, God can use a messy, godly woman in some amazing ways.
Join NHLB Executive Director Alicia Stickles as she leads a study of various women found in scripture. Throughout this 8-week study, we will explore the beautiful stories of 8 different women and lean how their background, strengths, and WEAKNESSES were all used for the glory of God. Our prayer for this study would be that you would be encouraged to find grace for your shortcomings, celebrate the way God made you, and realize that the Proverbs 31 woman isn’t a standard to strive for but rather a woman whose life is surrendered to God.
Whether you are a wife, mother, or simply a woman who desires to grow in your walk with God, the lessons from the stories of these beautiful women will have lasting impact not only on you personally, but your family and others around you.
